Rev. Dr. Belva J. Johnson hails from Chicago, Illinois and has been a California resident since 1996. Dr. Johnson has achieved an Ordained Minister of the Gospel Degree, Doctor of Divinity Degree with Major as Pastor and Doctor of Philosophy Degree with Awareness Psychologist.
As a conscientious student of spiritual studies, Dr. Johnson has attained a rich knowledge of Spiritual Meditation in order to elevate, sustain morale and raise levels of optimal mental health and physical wellness. Studies and research have discovered that the practice of meditation is a great tool to achieve peace of mind, a sense of higher esteem and physical well being.
For the past ten years, Dr. Johnson has cultivated and perfected a technique to teach others how to correct negative behavior using Spiritual Meditation practices. Results are clearly visible and noticeable after attending Spiritual Meditation sessions. Her humanitarian pursuits include founding the Safe Home Housing nonprofit organization, whose mission is to build Safe Home Villages to house veterans, disabled and elderly residents that do not have substantial living quarters.
Dr. Johnson is working feverishly to accomplish the goal of building housing for future residents that are living on the street. It is of the utmost importance to accomplish giving this community the safe, clean and dignified housing accompanied with wrap around services needed to again become productive citizens and take their rightful place back in the mainstream of society. “It is my greatest desire to help those that feel they are powerless to help themselves.”

Ralph Jennings, Jr. (affectionately known as Brother Ralph) presently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Safe Home Housing Nonprofit Organization. Some of his greatest achievements in life include:
• U.S. Air Force Veteran
– [Vietnam-era, honorable discharge.]
• A Prophetic Bible Teacher, Inventor, and Song Writer, whose testimony has been highlighted by:
o Billy Graham Evangelistic Association
o Joyce Meyer Ministries
o Prison Fellowship, and
o Saddleback Church of Lake Forest, CA.
Brother Ralph is the author of the book series entitled “This Generation: God’s Purpose for Today’s Urban Church”, and has co-authored the “Transfer of Wealth in America–the New Civil War”. He’s known nationally & internationally for his insights into innovative, practical, and sustainable urban solutions, in areas such as: Authentic Christian Discipleship, Biblical Evangelism. Community-Informed Trauma Management, Domestic Violence & Criminality Intervention, God’s Economic Love Culture, Grassroot Community Peer Counseling, Housing & Community Development, Kingdom Commonwealth and Stewardship, Maximized Public Safety, Restorative Justice and Self-Rehabilitation Protection Law. Brother Ralph brings all of the above listed talents and more to the mission of Safe Home Housing to create homes and supported lifestyles to future residents of this much needed platform.
Debra was born November 30, 1967 and is a wife of 17 years, mother of a daughter and grandmother of three. Her father was a Pastor, her mother was an Evangelist and she has been in church basically all of her life. Needless to say, she loves the Lord.
Having served on several committees in the church, such as the usher board, feeding the homeless, compassion ministries, hospitality committee, serving as a Pastor’s Aid, and as an Armor Bearer, Debra’s life has always been geared in the direction of service and humanitarianism. She has a passion for travel and loves to spread God‘s Word wherever she goes. Debra is always looking for open oppor- tunities to help wherever needed, especially assisting elderly.
Safe Home Housing is honored to have such a noble minded individual on our Board of Directors to help achieve our mission and goals to make sure that everyone we reach has a safe, clean living space, and the knowledge needed to empower them back to operating successfully in the mainstream of society. Debra loves family, people and especially enjoys talking and making new friends and acquaintances. She is the Chairman of the Volunteers Committee, which by all means is the right position for the right person.

Dr. Cheryl Ferrand
CEO
Dr. Cheryl Ferrand is a native of New Orleans, LA, graduate of St. Mary’s Academy and attended Southern University, New Orleans, LA. Professionally, Dr. Cheryl Ferrand is a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor who received her Honorary Doctorate Degree at The Emmanuel Center in London, England.
She is the Founder and Executive Director of Successful Images Inc., singles ministry. Dr. Ferrand was ordained on June 22, 1985 and received an International Ordination in May 1993. She was nominated as Trailblazer Of The Year For The City of New Orleans, LA. Dr. Ferrand, along with her husband, Bishop George Ferrand, Jr., received The Family Counselor of the Year Award.
Dr. and Bishop Ferrand are proprietors of the "Helping Hands Presents Inc (NEMT)" service that provides rides to elderly and handicapped for their scheduled appointments and transportation needs. This service will also be made available to the residents of Safe Home Housing communities,
Presently, Dr. Ferrand is the CEO for the Safe Home Housing Nonprofit Organization. Some of the basic challenges in the homeless community are substance abuse, mental health challenges and effective living skills. Her expertise as a seasoned counselor in these areas assist residents of Safe Home Housing in their healing from the traumatic circumstances they are overcoming.
Chairman of the Construction Committee
Dr. George Ferrand, Jr. is a native of New Orleans, LA, and is an Ordained and Anointed Man of God, who was chosen for this time to be an instrument in setting the captives free through the Word of God.
Dr. Ferrand was international ordained in Palm Springs, CA on August 18,1996, and received his Honorary Doctorate Degree in 1999. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Another Choice Prison Ministry, where he is dedicated to enhancing the lives of ex-offenders and ex-substance abusers. He is the Founder of “A Way Of Life Ministries Full Gospel Church” and “Mishpachah Teaching & Training Ministries International”. He was also Chaplin of the Challengers Memorial Youth Detention Center in Lancaster CA.
Both Dr. Ferrand and his wife, Received The Family Counselor of the Year Award in July 2001.
They are presently the sole proprietors, of the newly opened “Helping Hands Presents Inc (NEMT)”, which services the needs of those traveling to appointments, shopping, and anywhere they need to go, that desire personal and professional means to get to their designation. In addition, Dr. Ferrand operates a service by the trade name of “His Hands Extended”. This business provides main- tenance services, remodeling, construction, electrical, millwright and building assessment.
He brings all of these skills and more to the Safe Home Housing Nonprofit Organization as the Chairman of the Construction Committee.
MARZETTE HENRY

Marzette Henry is a Minister and Evangelist who began her ministry in 1991. Her and her late husband Elder Oliver Henry worked with children and families in her community providing clothes, food and sharing the Word of God. Mazette's House Outreach Ministry is named in honor of her beloved mother, Marzette Washington.
From Bible Study meetings in the projects of Watts to feeding the homeless in South Central, Los Angeles, the ministry has served hundreds of families through the years. This organization is now located in the Antelope Valley, where Minister Marzette continues to sponsor programs for homeless individuals as well as children.
She brings a wealth of know- ledge, wisdom and experience to the Safe Home Housing nonprofit organization and chairs the Organizational Meetings Committee.
Treasurer
Elenora Williams is currently a supervisor in the Los Angeles County Public Defenders Office with over 20 years of legal supervising experience. Her education includes a Bachelors of Arts Degree with numerous training classes that incorporate continuing classes in leadership, employee development, civil rights, sexual harassment and governmental policies, just to name a few.
Nora is currently heavily involved in the work of two nonprofit organizations. One of these organizations is The Cupcakes Women’s Ministries, which is established to supply basic needs to the homeless community by providing food, meals, clothing, as well as ministering into their lives, encouragement.
In addition, she serves as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Safe Home Housing Nonprofit Organization, and brings a wealth of accounting and banking knowledge to this platform.
She is passionate about the mission of Safe Home Housing to build communities for homeless veterans, elderly, disabled and indignant people. These housing developments, not only provide homes, but also address the causes of their traumatic circum- stances and assist them to full recovery, to help them get back on their feet.
Chairman of Grants & Sponsorships
Wayne Lyons, II was the high school valedictorian of Dillard High School, graduated from Stanford University and later attained a Masters Degree from the University of Michigan.
After founding Empire For The Youth, a non profit organization, and the Mastermind Consulting Group, he is now connecting leaders from all over the world with the GLUE NETWORK, Global Leaders Uniting Everywhere.
Wayne is also the Chairman of the Grants and Sponsorships Committee for the Safe Home Housing nonprofit organization. He is currently working in schools and communities as a social worker and an Ambassador of Peace and Love.
His goal is to create a lifestyle of Kingdom Building for all the people he encounters that receive services of Love. His philosophy is to live with HOPE… Having Only Positive Energy… knowing that God is Love and LOVE CONQUERS ALL!!!
Chairman of Land Acquisition
Byron Brantley Jr. is a Midwest native, representing both Chicago and Waukegan, IL. While growing up in a big city such as Chicago, he was always mesmerized by the aesthetics and architectural infrastructure of the city. Having developed a deep infatuation and a need to know more how iconic buildings such as the Willis Tower (formally known as the Sears Tower) were constructed, Byron remained on a path of curiosity which led him to pursue studies in engineering and science, which all contributes to his foundational interest in STEM.
As a graduate of Morehouse College and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with B.S. degrees in Applied Physics and Mechanical Engineering respectively, Byron remains on a path of discovery, learning, and creative transformation. With former internships at the Georgia Institute of Technology as an Undergraduate Researcher focusing on the “Oxidation of Zirconium Alloy” and The Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a Mechanical Engineer focusing on the “Reliability of Pressure Systems”, Byron continues to stretch his curiosity of the many realms of STEM.
Byron’s professional experience is broad with experience working as a Systems Engineer and Structural Analyst in the Aerospace and Defense Industry. Prior to making the transition into Aerospace and Defense, he served as a Business Analyst Consultant in the Information and Technology Industry.
Byron is actively engaged in community and social outreach. He prides himself on getting involved on a local level no matter where he establishes his residency. This has clearly been displayed in each state that he has lived in which includes Illinois, Georgia, North Carolina, Louisiana, Wisconsin, and now California. Byron actively serves as the Secretary of a local nonprofit. He participates in career panel discussions, geared towards several different cohorts throughout the year. In addition, he also takes the time to follow up with the participants to address their questions and concerns about professional development, college, and/or life in general. Byron is also active on a corporate level from a community outreach standpoint, serving on the Executive Board of a Business Resource Group as Membership Chair. He also serves as a project lead in support of a National Development initiative geared towards promoting the diversity and inclusion as well as the professional development of all employees in his place of employment.
